I think I just like making blogs, but not actually keeping up with/updating them.
HOWEVER!! This is the year of trying!!
Wtf you say?? Okay, so Stephen, Brian, Hannah and I came up with this sometime around New Year's Day, and we thought it would be a good moniker for 2009. Everyone always makes BS resolutions that never really amount to anything in the long run. Also, we are all just lazy asses, don't deny it. So basically the year of trying is just that - a year where instead of being lazy and giving up on our goals, we actually make some effort to get what we want. So for me, one thing I really want is to keep in touch with friends who I may not get to see/talk to very often. I started this blog thinking of the one that Stacy and her friends had in high school, and the infamous Han & Sam teen angst-fest on xanga (We are still looking to release a cd of xanga music greatest hits, including such favorites as Shake Ya Tailfeather and The Second Star to the Right. Should be released as a companion to Now 45). Hopefully you guys will want to post occasionally and update on your lives, although I know most of you are looking at this with a cynical chuckle and a "yeah, right." (cough kevin cough). So all I ask is that you at least bookmark this shit with the title: THE YEAR OF TRYING so maybe when you read it you will be guilt-tripped into actually posting and regaling the rest of us with spectacular adventures both near and far :)
